Soooo far behind in blogging...

I am so far behind in updating this (again). So instead of a bunch of little post I am going to group them into sections. So without further ado, here is fall in pictures.

Remembering Dad

It's been a little over two months since my Dad passed away.  It doesn't get any easier with time...at least not yet.  My coping mechanism is to be super busy all the time.  It works for the most part.  But with Christmas almost here I miss him more than ever.  Eventually I will get a tribute post up. (When I have the capacity to go through all the pictures again) but here are some beautiful (weird to say considering the circumstance) pictures of the funeral that my cousin Becky took.  I love you Daddy! Merry Christmas!!

Our Busy September

This month isn't even over yet, but we have been so busy.  So instead of a bunch of little post - here is what we have been up to in September.  Sweet Corn Festival, AWANAS, Gardening, Weddings, and enjoying (a so far very hot) fall! I took most of these pics with my phone and I don't think I uploaded them right because the resolution is a little funny - sorry!

First Day of School

I can't believe my sweet Aubrey is in Kindergarten!! I am so excited for! Her first week went great and she acted like she has been going to school for years.  Rebekah is still going to preschool and this will be her first time not having her older sis with her all day.  I think it's going to be great for both of them.  It was my first day as well! I am really excited about this school year. I have huge classes, but he kids seem really great.  Also this year I am teaching a journalism class - finally using my degree!! Ha Ha!! Rolland starts school in about a week so all of us will be in school (I am getting a second degree).  He thinks he is going to change his degree to Tourism / Hospitality Management.  He would be perfect at that! I am really excited for this year's opportunities for all of us!

Fun With My Girls' Hair

Before I was a working woman I used to do a bunch of crazy stuff with my girl's hair.  I love making "art" of their hair-dos.  But then work started and I resulted back to the boring stuff.  So as we gear up to start another school year my goal is to bring some of that creativity back.  I wish I could take the credit for all the fantastic hair ideas, but I can't, there are some amazing bloggers out there dedicated to making little girls look FABULOUS!!!  There are a bunch of links on the right if you are interested.  Hope you enjoy some pics of a fun summer day and a couple of cute girlie hair-dos!

We are FINALLY fully moved in, painted, and decorated! And I even hosted my first party - the house is officially broken in.  So to show you all my hard work I wanted to post some before and after pics of the house.  Its just a rental (for now) so I didn't knock down any wall...even though I wanted to...but here are the cosmetic improvements!
